Having always adored the Cornish countryside and way of life we finally found ‘Maidenland’ three years ago and knew immediately that it would make a perfect second home for us to escape to at the weekends with our children and dogs.

However, before we could start enjoying this new lifestyle it needed to be completed modernised. We employed local tradesmen to complete all the work and thoroughly enjoyed getting to know them and at the same time transforming and ‘bringing back to life’ the 250 year old farmhouse. We wanted to create an elegant yet homely feel, whilst retaining the character and heart of the farmhouse.

We adore taking the dogs for long walks on the beautiful beaches, walking to the local public house called the St Kew Inn (which offers delicious food) and just relaxing by the pool with family and friends, surrounded by beautiful countryside.
